Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and protected when you use Design Your Next SmartPhone (the "App"), developed and published by Appylux ("we", "us", or "our").

1. Information We Collect 1.1 Local Storage and Media Access Our App allows you to design custom 3D smartphone concepts, preview them from all angles, and export 360-degree showcase videos directly to your device. To provide this functionality: • Media and Gallery Storage: When saving an exported showcase video, the App utilizes Android MediaStore and storage APIs to save the .mp4 video file into your device's Movies directory (Movies/DesignNextPhone). • Local App Storage: Your custom phone configurations, chosen parts, colors, and thumbnails are stored strictly locally on your device using browser local storage and IndexedDB. • No Cloud Upload of Designs: We do not record, transmit, or store your custom phone designs, exported videos, or personal media on external servers.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information When you use the App, technical data is automatically collected through integrated Google services to ensure stability, diagnose errors, and monitor performance: • Diagnostic and Crash Data: Handled via Google Firebase Crashlytics. In the event of an application crash or JavaScript error in the 3D renderer, Crashlytics collects technical details including device model, operating system version, memory state, and error stack traces. • Usage and Analytics Data: Handled via Google Firebase Analytics. We collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics such as screen views (Home, Studio, Settings), feature usage (such as saving a design or selecting an export resolution), and session duration. • Advertising Identifier (AD_ID): In accordance with Google Play policies, the App utilizes the Google Advertising ID (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID) solely for app analytics attribution and diagnostic metrics.

2. How We Use Your Information We use the collected information exclusively for the following purposes: • To provide, maintain, and optimize the 3D smartphone design studio and video export capabilities. • To detect, diagnose, and resolve technical bugs, rendering errors, and app crashes. • To understand aggregated user preferences and feature engagement to guide future updates. We do not sell, rent, or trade any personal data or usage data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services The App integrates third-party SDKs provided by Google that collect technical and diagnostic information subject to their respective privacy policies: • Google Play Services: https://policies.google.com/privacy • Google Firebase Analytics: https://firebase.google.com/policies/analytics • Google Firebase Crashlytics: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

4. Data Retention, Security, and Storage • On-Device Data: All phone concepts, saved designs, and downloaded videos remain under your control on your device. You can permanently remove your saved designs at any time via the Settings screen ("Clear All Saved Designs") or delete exported videos directly from your device gallery. • Analytics Data: Anonymous diagnostic and analytics data stored by Google Firebase is subject to standard Firebase data retention schedules and security protections. We apply reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect any diagnostic information collected against unauthorized access.

5. Children's Privacy Design Your Next SmartPhone does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. The App is a 3D creative design tool for general audiences. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data through any communication channel, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or applicable laws. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
