This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and protected when you download, install, and use Airport Delays (the "App"), developed and published by Appylux ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect 1.1 Optional Device Location Information To provide location-based features such as calculating the distance to nearby commercial airports and sorting the "Nearest to You" airport list: • Approximate and Precise Location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION, ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION): If you grant location permission, the App accesses your device’s GPS or network location solely to calculate the straight-line distance (in kilometers) between your current position and airports in our global database. • Processed Locally & Not Tracked: Your GPS coordinates are processed on your device to calculate airport distances and are never tracked in the background, never logged to create movement history, and never shared or sold to any third parties. Granting location permission is completely optional; you can deny it and still search all airports manually.

1.2 Local Device Storage & Caching To ensure fast load times and reliable offline viewing: • Local Preferences & Cached Flight Boards: The App caches recently viewed airport boards, flight schedules, weather data, and UI preferences (such as your preferred tabs or filters) locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences and in-memory caches. • No Account Required: You do not need to register, create an account, log in, or provide any personal details (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the App. • No Access to Personal Files: We do not access, scan, read, or upload your private photos, media, contacts, documents, or personal files.

1.3 Automatically Collected Diagnostic & Technical Information When you use the App, certain non-personally identifiable technical information is automatically collected through integrated Google services to ensure stability, prevent network errors, and maintain high performance: • Crash Reporting & Error Diagnostics (Google Firebase Crashlytics): In the event of an unexpected error, network timeout, or application crash, Firebase Crashlytics collects technical diagnostics. This includes your device model, operating system version, memory state, system architecture, and error stack traces. This data is used solely to identify and fix bugs. • Usage Statistics (Google Firebase Analytics): We collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to understand how our features are used. This includes general events such as screen views (Airport Search, Flight Board, Flight Details), airport selections, tab switches (Arrivals vs. Departures), and filter selections. • Advertising Identifier (AD_ID): In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, the App declares the Google Advertising ID permission (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID). This identifier is used exclusively by integrated Google Firebase SDKs for aggregated analytics attribution, diagnostic metrics, and app performance measurement.

2. How We Use Collected Information We use the collected technical, location, and diagnostic information strictly for the following purposes: • To deliver live flight arrival and departure schedules, gate numbers, terminal assignments, and airport delay metrics. • To sort and identify airports nearest to your current location (when permission is granted). • To detect, diagnose, and resolve technical bugs, network timeouts, and app crashes. • To understand general app usage trends and optimize app responsiveness and user experience. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade any personal data, location data, or individual usage records to data brokers or third parties.

3. 4. Third-Party Flight Data & Information Accuracy • Live Flight & Delay Data: Flight status, estimated arrival/departure times, gate numbers, and delay metrics are aggregated from airline schedules, airport feeds, and aviation data providers. While we strive to provide the most accurate and real-time information possible, flight schedules are subject to rapid operational changes by airlines and air traffic control. The App is intended for personal travel planning and informational reference only. • External Web Links: If the App provides links to airline websites or external resources, we do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any third-party websites.

5. Data Retention, Control, and Deletion • On-Device Data: You retain full control over data stored on your device. You can revoke location permissions at any time via Android System Settings. You can also clear all cached flight schedules and preferences by clearing the App’s cache/storage through Settings > Apps > Airport Delays > Storage > Clear Data. • Analytics & Diagnostic Data: Non-personal diagnostic and crash records held by Google Firebase are automatically deleted in accordance with Firebase's standard retention schedules (typically 90 to 180 days).

6. Children’s Privacy Airport Delays is designed for general audiences and travelers. The App does not knowingly collect or solicit any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. All data collected by the App is strictly non-identifiable technical, analytical, and diagnostic data. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can immediately delete such records.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our application features, aviation data sources, legal obligations, or Google Play developer policies. Any updates will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
